- On September 7th 2010, the
world renowed tenor Andrea Bocelli will give a concert for the
BCA Fund at Herodus Atticus Odeon. “If God had a singing
voice, he would sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli” according
to Celine Dion’s well known statement for the celebrated
artist. The quality of his voice, which is globall...y
acknowledged, has classified him among the legends in the
pantheon of music with the greatest number of record sales
worldwide and a Star of his own at “Hollywood’s Walk of
Fame”. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry
of Interior, Decentralization and e-Government.The proceeds of
the concert will be donated to the BCA Fund.On 6th September,
the President of the BCA Fund Mrs. Aspasia Leventis will
organize a dinner at the Ecali Club to honour the legendary
artist and BCA Fund Goodwill Ambassador, who is at the top of
the classic and modern music scene. She will also present him
with an award, in recognition of his profound commitment as a
means to promote the ideals and principles embodied in the BCA
Fund.
